ROLE AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Primary Purpose of the job

·  Lead Field Operations short term strategy and planning in line with Channel and Sales Always-On strategy and plan to contribute to Sales Functional objective and company business objective
·  Manage Field Force and Field Operations by liaising with field force business partner and Danone team to deploy and execute Trade & Channel activities to achieve the aligned KPIs including but not limited to BOFC, NUC recruitment & retention, NUC conversion, sellout/offtake target, in-store execution, stores activation and market intelligence.
·  Develop high performing team by driving Training & Capabilities Development plan, reward & cognition, and accountable for delivering set KPIs.

AREA OF ACCOUNTABILITIES AND KEY TASKS

 

Field Operation Strategy & Planning:

·  Develop Field Operation Strategy & Planning in conjunction with Sales-Always-On strategy, brand strategy, and channel strategy by identifying what is working, not working, and prioritized issues & opportunities.
·  Manage Field Force operation budget and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resource.
·  Develop and implement processes, tools, and system for field force team (e.g. consumer engagement SOP, Selling toolkit, FAQs, Scripts …)
·  Analyze and identify business opportunities within respective areas.
·  Develop and implement various quality control methods (e.g. field force dashboard, call validation)
·  PC deployment plan to ensure right store selection by following channel strategy

Field Forces & In-store execution Management:

·  Lead and manage Field Force team (PC) to drive new user recruitment, conversion, and retention.
·  In-store excellence execution to ensure PC team follow the picture of success (Merchandising, FEFO, MSL, PiCOs) to maximize offtake in the stores
·  Understand and respond to competitive activities, initiate, and recommend actions to counter-act these to help protect our market position.
·  Monitor all competitor activities, including consumer promotion, activation, event, trade rebate, trade launch and report it to management.
·  Responsible for pricing update and report it to management.
·  Allocate duties and responsibilities to employees on the field.
·  Monitor all field operations to identify and resolve issues and ensure operational efficiency.
·  Daily/weekly/monthly report of field force operation
·  KPIs setting for regular tracking on the performance on monthly, quarterly basis.

Stores Activation Management:

·  In-store activation conducted by Product consultant activation team to drive trial and conversion.
·  Monthly store activation route plan and mechanic support
·  Allocate PC team to join company event to drive purchase, new user recruitment, consultant, advice to mums in the roadshow, health talk, kid fair.
·  Daily/weekly/monthly report of field force operation

Training & Capabilities Development: 

·  Analyze and identify training requirements via training needed for soft and hard skill for PC team.
·  Provide on-the-job coaching/trainings to develop high performance, demonstrate in-field best practices.
·  Responsible for motivating and encouraging team to develop and achieve company goals and objectives.

Stakeholders Management:

·  Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, HN, distributor, Field Force business partner to deliver sellout, offtake, and new user recruitment per plan.
·  Build and maintain long-term relationships with external vendor to ensure sustainability of service provided.
·  Field works to get more insight and closely monitor of trade inventory, competitor activities and build a good relationship with trade to drive sellout and recommendation.

About you

CAPABILITY PROFILE – Required Background & Leadership

 

Education and Knowledge:

·  Bachelor’s degree of administration, management 
·  Computer literate
·  Strong verbal & written communication skills in English and Khmer language
·  Relevant knowledge in infant nutrition and food science will be an advantage

Experience:

·  Experience in working with the retail operation, sales, marketing
·  At least 3-year experience in a supervisory position or have experience in leading working groups

Required personal attributes:

·  A team player
·  Able to communicate at all levels
·  Strong leadership capabilities, decisive with high level of integrity
·  Analytical and with good presentation skills
·  Proactive, good follow through and results oriented
·  Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills including written & spoken English and Khmer language
·  Planning and organizing, co-ordination, delegation, control, able to drive a car with possesses a valid driving license.
