About the job

This is a key position in Alpro's largest market which will report to the Demand Manager for the UK & Ireland. This role is responsible for managing the Demand Forecast for all Alpro brands over a rolling 18 month time horizon, working to support the monthly GPS (Global Planning System) process, this role will be instrumental in facilitating long term integrated business planning working.

The job holder will be responsible for gathering key data/insight to build a forecast (volume and value), aligning forecast assumptions with key stakeholders and constantly adapting that forecast according to the dynamics of the market. Building a strong collaborative relationship with Sales, Category and Brand Marketing is critical as is proactively communicating forecast changes to the key Supply Chain and Commercial stakeholders. This role is also responsible for ensuring that all promotional activity is accurately reflected in the forecast and strict deadlines are adhered to in relation to the overall process

About you

To be successful in this role you will certainly have demand planning experience and a sound understanding of S&OP process. You will enjoy analyzing data and have a strong set of skills that enable you to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data. Due to the large number of stakeholders that you will deal with you will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills that enable you to build trustful relationships with a broad range of people. Finally you will look to take responsibility and be happy to make decisions in an uncertain environment, remaining agile when needed.

On the systems side you’ll be a proficient Excel user and, ideally have experience of SAP and APO.

The role is based at our modern offices in Solihull close to the NEC complex and attracts a competitive salary package. It may also require occasional travel to functional meetings across Europe.
