Founded in 1990, Dalet is a leading developer of software solutions that facilitate the production and management of audio and video assets for broadcast operations. Dalet customers include world class Radio and TV broadcasters (like BBC, NBC, Canal+, France Televisions, Time Warner Cable, FOX) educational organizations, parliaments and courts of justice.
Operating worldwide, Dalet solutions are used in over 60 countries by 1,700 customers.
For the development of its software solutions, Dalet is seeking a software developer based in Israel, who will work from Dalet’s Israel office, but might also be expected to travel and work with Dalet offices worldwide.
MISSION :
- The candidate must be an engineer highly skilled in development
- Responsibility for development of software projects in digital Audio and Video for Sports and News market.
- Experience in scrum agile methodology would be advantageous.
PROFIL :
- The candidate should have a specialty or Advanced degree in Computer Science, be very familiar with Javascript and C++, concurrency, algorithms.
- The candidate should be fluent in English with good communication, organisational, synthesis and writing skills, and be highly experienced in IT (Windows, Linux); as well as with software development tools and techniques.
- Competence in video and audio, codecs and media editing would be an advantage.
- Experience with GPU technologies an advantage (CUDA, OpenCL, OpenGL)
You will be part of a team developing one of the most advanced media input/output platform in the industry and work on the most advanced video streaming tools (IP delivery of high-resolution material).
You will participate in the development of advanced media software tools: multi-platform delivery with web and mobile tools, standard compliant video streaming (MPEG-DASH, HTML5 media tools), REST servers, and the development of new cloud services (AWS, Azure) using continuous deployment technologies. You will be in contact with industry leading customers in the field of News and Media entertainment and participate in regular technology courses in the field of media processing.
