Web Designer

Job description

We are looking for a talented Web Designer with established skills in both digital design and front-end development. You must have proven experience within e-commerce and will also need a strong knowledge of responsive HTML & CSS , as well as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Experience with testing and optimising would also be hugely advantageous.

We will count on you to bring your creativity, innovation and technical ability to every job you work on. Working independently, you will be responsible for creating engaging designs for our new site.

You will be at the heart of what we communicate to the customer and will champion our brand in all visual design.

Responsibilities

Build engaging HTML website landing pages
Creating PSD assets / templates - email and web
Produce both graphics & code inline with briefs provided by the website team, including page layouts and themes, email designs, site graphics and banners
Responsible for ensuring consistent company branding across all channels
Campaign creative - logos, mastheads and general 'look and feel’
Creation and deployment of HTML / CSS web pages for campaigns
Develop wireframes and concepts that improve the customer experience
Design concepts for site changes and new projects (e.?g.? campaign launches, UX improvements)

Working to strict deadlines as part of a fast moving ecommerce design team
Meet stringent deadlines while having the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
