Overview
The Business Intelligence - Escalation team is a key player team in the global organization. It aims at handling business issues with significant impact on our global economic performance or with material reputation risk. Monitoring global KPIs alongside business management teams and setting up action plans with immediate application in order to limit business impact are its main areas. This international team is the primary point of contact for global Sales and Operations teams and coordinates with offices throughout America, Europe and Asia.
Based in New York, we are looking for the Regional Business Analyst for Americas (including North America and Latin America) who will manage critical issues and ensure the best support for both regional and global issues.
What will you be doing?
· Act as the primary point of contact with American leaders and Paris based teams regarding Operational critical incidents
· Ease communication and align priorities between Paris HQ and regional leads.
· Lead investigations from detection to resolution: qualify, investigate and lead troubleshooting.
· Analyze complex and large datasets from multiple BIG DATA sources.
· Work closely with Global Analytics teams to understand marketplace fluctuations.
· Work closely with R&D, Product and Sales teams for high priority resolution.
· Crisis management - establish global communication strategy to top management, anticipate business impact and participate to post-mortem.
· Build detailed reports to monitor Central teams level of service and teams efficiency - contribute to guidance & strategic decisions.
· Develop tools to monitor global performance through KPIs.
· Ensure training materials availability, organize and deliver the relevant trainings to Sales & Operations teams in Americas.
· Proactively promote innovative solutions and improvements to the 24/7 support organization, managed by the Escalation Business Intelligence team.
What do we NEED?
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field
· 4+ years within Operations teams in the Online services or related industry.
· Strong oral and written communications skills
· Experience in international role
· Strong aptitude to take the lead and coordinate various teams globally in crisis situations.
· Previous experience in analytics / investigations and end to end problem solving.
· Proven ability to communicate clearly and appropriately in front of international Commercial and R&D teams.
· Technical skills in SQL, Hadoop/Hive, programming languages (JS) and analytics methodology is a plus.
· Early adopter to technology and passion and interest in global ecommerce markets.
