Job description

· Opportunity to join the regional Equities Support team providing user & production support for Equities Exchange Links platforms.
· Responsibility for providing IT support for mission-critical applications within the Equities trading and Sales platforms.
· Ownership for providing support for Post Trade applications[Fidessa/Mira].
· Collaboration with teams based in different locations to own and manage the production environment and support services delivered to equities business.
· Interaction with, and exposure to stake-holders at all levels in the business (traders & desk heads) & product line IT (application developers & IT leads).

Desired profile

·  Proven experience working in a front-office trading environment with specific exposure to cash equities trading platforms.
·  Excellent technical ability with Unix & Windows platforms, with hands-on experience supporting mission-critical electronic trading/client connectivity applications.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Analytical mindset with excellent problem solving ability
·  Prior experience directly managing small to medium size team of support analysts and working with remote teams is an advantage.
·  Working experience in trading systems and shell scripting is an advantage.
