Wealth & Structuring Advisor in global highly reputed Private Bank

Demonstrate your credible tax, legal and superannuation knowledge to provide standout service to private clients in this rare wealth and structuring advisory role at Credit Suisse.

We Offer

As a member of our small Wealth & Structuring team, you will be an important resource in a major growth area for the Private Bank.

You will be responsible for the ‘emerging' business segment. Day to day activities will include researching and drafting complex pieces of advice for clients, undertaking vital cash flow and asset modeling using specific software, producing business development and internal training material for the Wealth offering, and implementing our advice for clients. You will also develop the team's workflow, monitor client projects and liaise with external advisors such as lawyers and accountants.

This role requires a unique combination of excellent technical, numerical and research skills, excellent communication and social abilities, with a passion for wealth strategies and structuring.

· You will be part of a major area of growth for the Private Bank
· Join a flat-structured team, working directly with the Head of Wealth & Structuring
· Varied tasks including bespoke research and advice dealing with superannuation, trust and tax law
· A high degree of exposure to internal clients (Relationship Managers in the Private Bank), working with external clients with the chance to strengthen your own brand and reputation at the Bank
· In time, increasing levels of exposure to clients of the Private Bank in presenting and implementing the recommended advice with a focus on prospects in the future
· You get the opportunity to get involved in preparing training presentations and in various business development activities.

Desired profile

You Offer:

·  A degree in commerce, finance, accounting or law
·  An excellent foundation of technical knowledge in superannuation, trust and taxation law
·  Highly developed research skills, which may be demonstrated by your ability to interpret and research complex tax and super legislation and ATO rulings
·  Solid analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, summarise the law as needed and produce well-reasoned conclusions
·  Excellent writing skills on technical topics such as superannuation and tax
·  High level of numeracy gained in an accounting, consulting or similar environment
·  Excellent project management skills, running a range of clients with challenging deadlines
·  Team orientation with excellent social skills and a ‘service' attitude, with the demonstrated ability to develop a range of relationships with internal / external clients and third party advisors
·  Minimum 2 to 4 years with a FPA Principal Member organisation, premier accounting or law firm in a relevant practice area
·  High degree of attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves to work on the essential implementation and administrative tasks in a small team
·  Postgraduate (CA, CFP) studies an advantage
·  Ability to learn and use financial software. Xplan experience an advantage
