Missions

CACIB’s Global Financial Sponsors Group (GFSG) develops solutions for Private Equity sponsors in all areas of leveraged finance, including the origination, arrangement, underwriting and syndication of leveraged buy-out (LBO) debt.

GFSG Frankfurt is looking for a Leveraged Finance Analyst, working within the deal team and supporting Transactors in the execution of LBO financings in the German speaking and in the Nordic region.

 

You will join the German team as Analyst Strutured Finance (V.I.E .)

 

Main responsibilities and duties:

1. Execution of new transactions

·  Assist the deal team in the origination and execution of new deal opportunities incl. analysis of information memorandums, management presentations and due diligence reports
·  Preparation of internal credit applications to be presented in credit committees
·  Cash-flow based financial modelling (incl. sensitivity scenarios)
·  Support in Compliance and KYC related matters

 

2. Monitoring of existing portfolio files

·  Periodic analysis of company reports and financial statements incl. preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual reviews
·  Presentation to / discussion with internal decision makers

 

3. Marketing Activities

·  Writing deal-related pitchbooks for key private equity clients
·  Preparation of general marketing pitches based on research from various (internal and external) sources

Formation / Spécialisation

You are in Business school, Engineering/Computer science School or University

Specialization required : Knowledge in Corporate Finance (credit analysis and/or financial modelling and/or legal documentation) would be preferable

Niveau d'expérience minimum

0 - 2 ans

Expérience

0 - 3 years experience working (also via internship/s) in Leveraged Finance/Structured Finance/Corporate Finance, Investment Bank/Commercial Bank, and/or Private Equity

Compétences recherchées

• Attitude towards detailed analytical work and financial modeling
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work across all levels of the Organization
• Knowledge of private equity investments, corporate finance and credit analysis
