Overview:
Introduce and maintain supplier quality assurance measures and activities to ensure the requested quality of the supplied parts and services; Contribution to reach the CA, Div, BU and local business- and quality targets and to optimize the efficiency of the purchasing-, quality- and logistic processes

Core Responsibilities:
• Functional responsibility for the defined parts, services, categories and suppliers
• Plan, initiate and control preventive orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design / development phase for supplied parts and services (Feasibility Commitment, Project Reviews, Run@Rate, Safe Launch Concept, Quality Control Plan etc.), to ensure that our products meet the defined quality requirements
• Plan, initiate, implement and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make / market phase for all supplied goods and services, in his area of reasonability, to continuously observe the quality performance of the supplier.
• Maintain the defined Supplier Quality Management System (procedures, guidelines and tools),
to ensure the requested quality in line with the CA Quality strategies in order to meet the cost-
and productivity targets
• Implement the preferred supplier and component strategy
• Execute the consequent supplier management activities to track any quality deviations
(zero tolerance for defects)
• Drive root cause analysis and enforce the definition and implementation of appropriate counter
measures at the supplier to ensure that the parts and services meet the defined quality requirements;
Initiate, lead and drive supplier improvement program
• Use and support the data system to collect and evaluate supplier quality related key performance indicators (KPI's) and issue periodical quality performance reports and ensure that appropriate improvement actions are initiated
• Define targets and control measures with the supplier in alignment with the CA SQM business and
quality targets
• Continuous tracking of the target setting and plan fulfillment (monitoring, analysis control) in the context of Supplier Quality Management System
• Coordinate collection of the supplier related quality related costs (QRC)

Desired profile

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 2 years minimum experience in a supplier quality or other quality engineering role

Preferred Qualifications
• 5 work experience years in a supplier quality role
• Knowledge in product development & Product and manufacturing process knowledge
• Strong background in Advance Product Quality Planning tools and methods (FMEA, Risk assessment, PPAP, Statistics, etc)
• Problem Solving Experience
• Direct Customer Communication (OEM)
• Ability for task coordination, motivation, autonomy, concentration on essential issues
• Project Management advanced knowledge
