Job Description

The Sales & Business Development Intern will assist the Transmission Group’s sales and program managers in determining the market for future products, as well as developing potential new business with major automakers. This individual will also assist in the execution of ongoing projects as required. This position will have both domestic and international focus.

Core Responsibilities:
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, utilizing market and competitive analysis.
• Present results of analysis
• Maintain internal sales opportunities tracking tools
• Assist with compilation of customer RFI/RFQ responses
• Assist with execution of current projects.
• Support various analytical projects, including working with spreadsheets, presentations, and database applications to generate reports.
• Collaborate with team to prepare projects.
• Track customer orders and assist with activities related to building customer prototypes

Job Requirements

-Required Qualifications:
• Must be enrolled in a US accredited degree program
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8

Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
• Self motivated and driven
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Familiarity with automotive Powertrain system elements
• Passion for the automotive industry
• Strong desire to learn
