Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift (10:00 pm- 6:00 am)

Core Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to the maintenance support group.
• Managing and maintain records on predictive/preventative maintenance/emergency work orders
• and controlling parts inventory.
• Provide technical input, solutions and options on improving productivity and efficiencies.
• Establish priorities for the maintenance functions that would ensure efficient and effective utilization of available resources and manage shift maintenance activities to minimize downtime of equipment based on production priorities.
• Coordinate outside vendor services including seeking bids as required with selection based upon contractor cost, workmanship, and completion dates.
• Able to maintain composure in tense situations and develop a good rapport with piers and other departments.
• Motivate people and perform evaluations; identify performance metrics and drive to achieve department KPI’s.
• Schedule and share on ­call duty.
• Have the ability to be customer centric and practice teamwork
• Manage projects and the ability to work with Global suppliers for technical direction.
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired profile

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications
• HS diploma/GED/Vocational
• 3+ years of maintenance supervision
• Ability to work nights and some weekends and when necessary, physically participate with repairs
• Strong Computer Microsoft Suite (excel, PPT and Word)
• Project Manage Skills

Preferred Qualifications
• SAP knowledge a plus.
