Continental Engineering Services are offering a 6-12 month Internship based at their UK location with the opportunity to gain hands on experience in a fast growing R&D facility. The right person will be able to contribute positively towards improving the business systems, gain real day to day responsibilities and for overseas candidates an opportunity to improve their business language skills. The intern will be working directly for our Financial Controller within a small but busy finance & accounting department.
• Purchase ledger & sales ledger
• Manage new accounting reports
• Forecasting & budget preparation
• Month End closing accounting activities
• Project costing
• Liaison with CES in Frankfurt
• Ad hoc exercises and projects
• Preparation for SAP implementation

Desired profile

Job Requirements

• Student or recent graduate within the fields of economic sciences or comparable field of studies with a focus on finance and controlling/accounting
• Proven experience in finance and controlling/accounting is advantageous
• Excellent knowledge of office tools (Word and Excel)
• Good English skills (written and spoken)
• High capacity for communication and teamwork, flexibility, open-mindedness, accuracy and proactive working skills
