Deliver and pick up goods while operating a semi­tractor trailer, sometimes over inter­city routes or spanning more than one state.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Operate a semi­tractor trailer to move product, equipment or materials.
2) Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources.
3) Maneuver trucks into loading docks and hooks/unhooks trailers.
4) Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
5) Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business.
6) Daily inspection of vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.
7) Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance and repair records.
8) Keep trucks fueled and clean.
9) Comply with all DOT and in­house regulations and rules.
10) Serve as a brand advocate in interactions with clients and the public.
11) Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) High school diploma/equivalent required.
2) CDL Class A driver's license in good standing.
3) Must be able to work independently.
4) Must be able to work in extreme outside weather conditions.
5) Must have and maintain good driving record.
