• Define and analyze sales approach of main competition using tools such as SWOT analysis
• Continuous monitoring of the replacement market, regarding trends and key market segments
• Detect business opportunities for profitable business growth
• Support central Business Intelligence in collection and analysis of market environment data
• Build up a reliable business relationship to suitable tire distributors / importers
• Gain understanding of truck tire business and end-customer behavior
• Continuous evaluation of existing and potential new customers in order to strengthen the customer base
• Monitor price development in the markets and propose action in cooperation with central pricing management
• Develop a yearly sales plan in cooperation with active business partner
• Cooperate with Market Demand Management for customer order fulfillment
• Drive sales through selected business partner
• Monitor and report the performance of active business partner vs. agreed targets
• Issue early warnings in case of low target achievement, or other unforeseen changes
• Drive collection of relevant market data in cooperation with R&D, Product Management and Business Intelligence functions
• Analyze collected data regarding business opportunities and risks as well as the ideal approach to enter the market
• Document collected information and conclusions in a comprehensive market entry study
• Present results of market entry study to APAC management and get approval for market entry
• Coordinate involved parties (e.g. R&D, MDM, etc.) through market entry process
• Ensure flawless information flow between involved parties throughout the market entry process
• Start the business with selected business partner
• Ensure successful market entry completion and transfer into standard business processes

Desired profile

Job Requirements

• University of Applied Science Degree in Business Administration, Engineering/IT or Technical Subject preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Has a min. of 3 years experience in Technical Sales or Technical Customer Service position dealing with fleet customers (Commercial Vehicles); understanding of relevant client segments and their competitive environment
• Experience with managing professional networks and customer experience
• Solid understanding of project management tools and skills; experience in managing and influencing indirectly.
• Solid knowledge of key processes and tools that drive the organization such as Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, R&D, etc.
• Leading Self
• Experience of working in or with other cultures, e.g. by working for an international company, studying abroad (min. 3 months)
