Poste et missions:
Within the context of Performance Plastics activity, within the Specialty films business in EMEA, drive the growth by developing a network of distribution partners both in the architectural and auto/transport segment, and by identifying major projects across the region.
Working alongside and with the other Saint-Gobain teams in the Region, in particular the HABITAT group and the Sub-Saharian Africa regional business development managers with Construction Products. Contribute to build to regional strategic plans, execute and achieve the regional strategic plans on time.
Identify and explore opportunities and potentials for distribution partners of Solar Gard throughout the Sub-Saharian African region considering the strength, channel to market, complementarity of solutions and service as key parameters.
Identify and explore opportunities for architectural projects in the region considering the particular added value of Solar Gard window film solutions in terms of multi-comfort, sustainability, and safety and security.
Identify for each of the identified prospects and/or project leads the concrete needs and opportunities; understand the value chain and the requirements and opportunities in terms of product, performance, logistics and price.
Set up a business plan for each of the targets and gain approval and support from Regional manager
Lead the technical and commercial development of the identified account or project and develop the necessary relationships with other channel or supply chain partners involved.
Work cross functionally with the other Saint-Gobain businesses in Sub-Saharian Africa
Adopt a strong orientation towards innovation with a high emphasis on customer focus and business development.
Actively participate and support the regional manager in the strategic planning process
Maintain up-to-date awareness of competitive activity, responding to new threats and seizing new opportunities in order to increase market share in the respective markets/territories.
Participate in annual sales and operations meetings
Make monthly 12 month rolling sales forecasts to support operations
Profil:
Master's degree or equivalent (from Business School, Engineering or University) with a business, marketing or sales experien. Strong interest for technical products and willingness to work on a B2B/ B2B2C segment.
Strong verbal & written communication skills. Requires strong autonomy, a "can do" attitude, good organization, and project-time management skills needed.
Perfectly fluent in English, French is optional
