Poste et missions:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The incumbent is responsible for the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for Glass Mat production at the Russellville, AL facility. Development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)/Functional Specifications and Equipment Manuals for the Glass Mat product transformation processes: Fiber feeding, Chemical, Wet End, Forming, TAD, Winder.
- Specifications are based on the process dashboard, extended to the dry end having tensions, speeds, etc.
- The associate will interface with the facility Management team, customers (internal & external) and suppliers to best determine processes related to material, manufacturing and engineering activities used in the development of standard operating procedures.
- SOP’s will be used for the establishment of training and best practices incorporated into the Russellville Glass Mat Process manual.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Statistical Process Control (SPC), analytical skills, mechanical aptitude, and verbal and written communication skills
- Machine Design experience, Microsoft office, Excel and AutoCAD or Solid works.
- The incumbent must possess strong organizational skills, as well as be thorough, detail-oriented and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Profil:
Master’s degree (preferred) in Paper or Glass Mat Chemistry & Engineering.
- Fluent in English (Spoken and Written)
- Exhibit SMART (Specific, Measurable, Agreed-upon, Realistic, Timely) planning, executing and delivery of results on time.
- Excellent communication skills are essential as well as ability to communicate, interact effectively and successfully with others.
- Ability to work effectively with different cultures and business climates.
