Poste et missions:
The VIE candidate will help in formalizing the purchasing processes at the KC plant to align with the Saint-Gobain global strategy.
Data Analytics
1.Develop analytical tool (spreadsheets) for tracking raw material usage, including establishment of min/max/reorder/safety stock for all raw materials used in KC
2.Develop comprehensive spreadsheet that details with specificity where each raw material in the plant is used/consumed in the production process (what production line, which particular product, etc.).
Purchase Order Administration – Raw Materials
1.Learn and participate in ordering processes for both IPR and EPR instances of SAP
2.Help resolve PO and invoice issues for raw materials
Sourcing Activities
1.Participate in development of moderate complexity RFP’s for various services, such as snow removal, janitorial, etc.
2.Utilize Prosource application for issuance and management of RFP’s
3.Support Capex projects as needed
Reporting
Assist in executing various reports for status updates to management, such as:
a.
Open PO reports
b.
Bid Waiver report
c.
Cost Avoidance and Savings tracking
Special Projects
Identify, develop and support cost-savings/avoidance opportunities for various plant operations involving third parties, such as:
a.
Maintenance work
b.
Incoming raw material logistical and operational improvements
c.
Other high dollar spend activities
Profil:
1 to 3 years in supply chain management or purchasing
Fluent in English
