Position: Data Scientist
Location: Coventry, UK
Overview:
Work with the marketing and data teams to give 1 single customer view across all touch points. Your job will be to leave ‘no customer stone unturned’ tying up online and offline data to give us a single view of our customer. This is a pivotal and evolving role developing customer engagement strategies across multiple channels. You will be pivotal in working on advanced personalisation projects, as well as delivering insight into customer engagement.
Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity to forge a new path in Saint Gobain UK. Your day will centre on interpreting customer data turning into quality actionable insights. Working to segment each customer group across the brands and knit together the cross brand SGBD customer (s). Working in and shaping a challenging working environment you will be a keep key member of the marketing team. You will add programmatic, automated and predictive elements to our daily thinking. You will be driven to add value to the brands, increase customer loyalty, send and create positive marketing ROI.
Profil:
Skills & Experience:
A background in mathematics/statistics is essential. Good communication skills, organised and methodical in approach. The ability to work under pressure and a self-starter.
Required:
Experience with Java, API, AWS, Large data eco systems like Hadoop, Google Analytics, SGL, Python, SQL
A genuine love and passion for data!
Desirable:
Apache, Cassandra, Spark, Adobe marketing cloud products, ETL, Ecommerce Skills, Multichannel Skills, ERP, CRM systems, Tableau. Delivering insights to non-technical teams
Education:
Degree Level in a numerate subject such as machine learning, computer science, physics, chemistry, mathematics or statistics
