There are 20,000 Gentle Organizers (G.Os) and Gentle Employees (G.Es) at Club Med, who work in the villages, but also at the Paris, Lyon, Singapore, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro and Miami headquarters, in the sales offices situated in dozens of countries and in travel agencies.
In the North America Business Unit of Club Med, based in Miami, the purpose of this position is to support US & Canada Marketing and Sales team through customer and business analysis; to provide guidance in the building, assessment, and optimization of their yearly strategy as well as day-to-day actions.
Poste et missions:
Mission 1: Marketing analysis
- Support Direct Marketing, Brand, PR and Trade actions through customer data analysis
- Contribute to optimize the segmentations and the targeting of our database
- Help the digital team to optimize traffic generation (via budget allocation) and e-merchandising via web mining
- Tools: SAS, Excel, Neolane, Powerpoint, Omniture, GAP
Mission 2: Business analysis
- Contribute to build the weekly business review for the Business Unit
- Support Sales team through sales data analysis (distribution channels, field team performances, offers, …)
- Support Revenue Management & Pricing in piloting price, promotions/offers and revenue
- Tools: Omniture, SAS, Excel
Mission 3: Development and production of reports
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly production of existing reports
- Definition of new KPIs (Key Performance Indicator)
- Creation of new reports to pilot marketing, digital & sales activities
- Tools: SAS, Excel
Mission 4: USA & Canada Customer database management
- Improve customer database quality
- Increase customer and prospect database volume
Profil:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business / Marketing or Statistics
- Preferably a prior experience in data mining, ideally in the tourism industry (cruise lines, leading resort or hotel brand).
Skills/competencies
- SAS and SQL language knowledge
- Neolane would be a plus
- Suite Microsoft Office knowledge
- Analytical skills
- Marketing knowledge
- Excellent “digital awareness”
