Faurecia Interior System production site Peine is looking for a

VIE Production Engineer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities are:

- Support in the creation and updating of standard documentation in the production
- Support for the installation and start-up of new equipment/tooling in new production lines.
- Analysis of material flows in the new and existing processes and optimization (analysis, optimization/ concept definition, planning, schedule and implementation) in the field of assembly.
- Participation in the first production trials of new projects / products
- Regular preparation, analysis and tracking of KPIs / indicators
- Contribute to the costs reduction plan like scrap costs, MOD costs and Work Content reduction
- Planning and drawing in CAD layouts for new and optimized assembly lines

Skills:

- Master’s degree/Engineering diploma with a specialization on Mechanical Engineering, Industrials Engineering or similar
- Proficiency in standard office software (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and AutoCAD
- Fluent in English and good level of German
- Team player, autonomous, rigorous and not afraid to take initiatives
- Self-starter with good organizational skills and assertiveness
- First experience in a production plant is a plus
