In this role you will be a part of Group Purchasing team, reporting directly to the Group Lead Buyer. You will be a partner with business functions to ensure that Global purchasing department targets will be achieved.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Actively participate in the group-wide digital transformation of HeidelbergCement’s source-to-receive process
Become an expert for SAP Ariba functionalities and configuration capabilities
Help finetuning HeidelbergCement’s Ariba platform to optimally utilize the platform’s features
Support and /or lead country rollouts of the supplier management platform and ensure fast implementation in alignment with all stakeholders
Actively manage local and global change processes during the introduction of SAP Ariba
Consult and support purchasers along the entire source-to-receive process on Ariba (supplier onboarding, e-tendering, e-auctions, contract management, catalog management)
Develop and execute training concepts to facilitate the adoption of the platform by the users

Requirements
High affinity to (cloud-based) IT solutions and new technologies
Eagerness to experience, learn and grow in a challenging environment
Ability to work in a team, in a self-motivated and flexible way towards agreed objectives
Degree in business administration, computer science or engineering
First experience in system and process implementation in global and cross-functional projects
Knowledge of source-to-pay procurement platforms like SAP Ariba (preferred), SRM, Jaggaer, ivalua, Coupa, SynerTrade etc. is a plus
Ability to achieve acceptance and to communicate professionally with colleagues in different areas, cultures and hierarchies
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, German language skills are an advantage
Willingness for geographical mobility and travel
