Job purpose
Manage a product development portfolio (innovation, renovation / optimization, range extension) from the design and feasibility study phase to complete industrialization.
Guarantee product performance and product specifications.

In response to the marketing brief or as part of the pro-active continuous improvement approach, carry out product development projects from the design phase to the start of production in accordance with the objectives of quality / cost / time and of the regulations in force:
- Participate in defining the demand (profitability objectives, launch and planning of the actions to be carried out)
- Study the technical feasibility of projects
- Determine the technical and human resources required for all phases of product development
- Design laboratory prototypes
- Program and pilot industrial tests
- Coordinate the project with the packaging team
- Ensure the privileged interface between the packaging, marketing, purchasing, management control, production and quality teams (central and factory)
- Develop the technical specifications of the product
- Manage project documentation (technical sheet, specifications, ingredient list, nutrition claims and health)
- Ensure the maintenance of product performance and propose actions if necessary to improve or correct.
- Find new suppliers, ingredients, packaging, processes
- Seek to constantly improve the cost of products to help production to produce at the lowest cost
- Manage finished product specifications (portfolio 600 products to be updated, review every three years)
- Learn about technological innovations related to the product and the business sector of the company and ensure competitive intelligence
- Ensure the proper maintenance of the laboratory and ensure a safe work environment in the lab.

Profile
Level of education: Bac + 4-5 (Agri Food Engineer) with experience of 2 years
Well-being: organized, rigorous, responsive and pragmatic, autonomous, agile
