We are the Finance & Business Office Department within Global Bus Purchasing at Volvo Bus Corporation (VBC), and we are now looking for a Junior Purchasing Performance Analyst (VIE). We are a global diverse team with the ambition to be regarded as best Business Partners providing great purchasing experience, and contributing to the success of our Purchasing function, our suppliers and our customers.
As our Junior Purchasing Performance Analyst, you will be part of the Finance team in Sweden and will daily cooperate with a large network of automotive purchasing and finance professionals from Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Poland and Sweden.
You will be responsible and support our department with:
- the analysis, reporting and forecasting of our performance in purchasing price management (material cost levels and price variances)
- the improvement of our processes and the descriptions of our performance indicators
- the analysis of our supplier database, contracts, purchasing portfolios
- the training of our buyers and purchasing managers on the use of our tools for forecasting and analyzing the performance
You will also contribute in supporting the Business Control, Business Office and Sourcing teams with ad hoc investigations, business cases or projects depending on our priorities.
WHO ARE YOU?
We believe that for you to thrive in this role, you have a good understanding of the purchasing practices, combined with business logic and a passion for purchasing performance improvement. Your communication and analytical skills, integrity, finance and figures interests make you a great fit in our department. You are curious and agile, fluent in English and have solid educational background in business, finance or purchasing. Your skills in using and programming both Excel and PowerBI will be strong assets.
