Job Description :

1) Primary Responsibilities :
• Drafting project protocol documents
• Reviewing and editing project presentations
• Participating in project meetings, conference calls, and training calls
• Preliminary financial tasks and monthly billing
• Acting as a liaison with cross-functional team members to ensure timely completion of all study deliverables
• Reporting study needs and issues

2) Maintain, review and communicate project progress:
• Monitoring internal data flow to ensure completion of tasks within agreed upon timeframes
• Communicating with clients regarding project status
• Researching and responding to client inquiries
• Mentoring, guiding and supporting the Operations team, including providing feedback to Operations Manager for performance appraisals

3) Ensure the development and adherence to project timelines:
• Following up on outstanding items including missing data, incomplete paperwork, etc
• Assisting in tracking and resolving of client issues
• Serving as an additional point of contact for the client, sites, sponsors, etc
• Keeping supervisor advised of current issues

4) Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards:
• Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards
• Participating in the creation/update of company SOPs
• Reviewing and providing recommendations to management on operational procedures
• Participate in process improvement initiatives

Profile:

Required Skills :
• Experience of 12 months as a Clinical Research Assistant or Biomedical engineer or similar
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; strong organizational and leadership skills
• Comfortable presenting in front of large groups
• Strong attention to detail
• Travel 5-15% if required

Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience working with computer software including Word, Excel, Access, and Project
• Medical Imaging experience a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or master degree in life sciences, Biomedical engineering project management or equivalent preferred
• Fluent English and French (an other language is a plus)
