The Team
We have an exciting Technical Solutions Architect (TSA) role open on our Thomson Reuters team! The TSA will be responsible for advancing and driving Global alignment of Thomson Reuters Data Center/Cloud services and Cisco’s compute, data center switching, automation, security, enterprise networking, collaboration and services portfolio. In this position, you will work across a diverse set of Thomson Reuters organizations and leverage a wide range of Cisco resources.
Role & Responsibilities
● The TSA will be focusing on providing high-level technical support and technology direction guidance to Thomson Reuters and the Cisco Global Account team.
● The TSA will be looking for ways to build his/her influence inside and outside of Cisco; scalability of information sharing is a key criteria for a TSA role.
● The TSA will be building and presenting Cisco product, technology and solutions information to a range of internal and external audiences. He/she should also be known outside of his/her account team for expertise either in a technology/range of technologies, or for customer relationship skills, understanding customer needs, and applying relevant Cisco solutions and resources to meet these needs.
● The TSA will share his/her knowledge within the account team and may provide informal training to customers and partners to develop further Cisco skills.
● TSA will lead RFPs/RFIs and provide technical consulting skills to customers.
Minimum Qualifications
● Cisco: Campus and Core Switching Platforms, Branch and Core Routing Platforms, Network Security, Wireless Infrastructure
● Network/fabric design, protocols and products: Ethernet, IP, switching, routing, spanning tree
● Network Services: Firewalls/IPS, load balancers, WAN optimization.
● Virtualization, Automation and Operation software and solutions.
● Network Management Applications
- Prime, APIC-EM, Lancope, Cisco ISE
● Familiarity of architecture standards such as TOGAF
● Understanding of Interconnections with Cisco Datacenter Architecture
Desired Skills
● 8+ years related work experience.
● Cisco product and end-to-end positioning experience.
● Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
● CCIE certification highly desirable and/or preferred.
