What You'll Do

Web Design/Developer, you will contribute towards the production of front end single page web applications. You'll be implementing Cisco's cloud collaboration services through designing and developing web components/widgets, graphs/charts, forms and navigation/menu structures in a responsive way that is independent of platform or device. Whilst forging new designs within the brand guidelines for an existing UI toolkit, you will be involved in coding to support the front end development team to achieve flexible, usable and accessible products.

Because you'll craft so many inventive solutions, through passion and execution, you'll make a large impact on the design, architecture and development of state of the art, global cloud communications services.

You will work closely with product designers, other specialists and developers in an agile team accepting challenges and change.

You'll be part BroadSoft's Engineering team, now part of Cisco.

Who You Are

  • At a minimum, we expect you to have a Bachelor's Degree in design or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years experience of developing web based user interfaces.
  • Expertise in HTML and CSS/SASS with a flair for design.
  • Proficient in JavaScript to add basic front end functionality.
  • Skilled in customer focused, flexible and responsive design patterns.
  • Up to date knowledge of web browser limitations, abilities and support.
  • Familiar with web template libraries such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
  • Skilled in source code management using GIT either via command line or tools such as SourceTree.
  • You're a motivated team member who is able to grasp complex user journeys, business problems and technology integration to design and develop simple, scalable and secure cloud services.
  • You're a go-getter and have a real passion for keeping up to date with technologies and standards.
