What You'll Do
As part of a global organization, you will be responsible for the Virtual Sales Team in Japan, and will strive to achieve annual plan, build strong internal and customer focused relationships and work seamlessly within a matrix environment. Additionally, you will drive business planning, forecast, and work effectively with teams, while aligning to the leadership team's initiatives. The position is an integral part of Cisco Japan and Global Virtual Sales & Engineering APJC Leadership Teams. You and your team will work with our customers, Cisco resellers and distributors to drive business outcomes for our Commercial and Public Sector accounts.
Role & Responsibilities
As a natural leader with a strong drive and work ethic, you have the ability to build senior-level relationships both internally and with customers and partners. You possess a track record in inspiring and developing talent, and a history of strong performance in leading teams with various strengths in a challenging and changing environment. You are at ease in developing your team in successful account planning and sales excellence. We look for strong sales coaching skills, flexibility and a real passion for developing others, together with excellent communication skills and a dynamic work style.
Minimum Qualifications
* BS, BA or equivalent.
* 7-10 years of experience in sales and minimum 3 years of experience as people manager and has experience of building and developing high performance sales teams.
* Capable of building strong internal and customer focused relationships.
* Proven track record in delivering excellent results against pre-defined sales goals and targets.
* Strong communicator fluent in both Japanese and English.
* Lead, coach and develop the Virtual Sales team members to deliver results while building strong and sustainable growth.
* Champion the GVSE vision and brand in Cisco.
* Co-work with other GVSE managers to identify and develop internal, market and customer opportunities for expanding and enhancing GVSE operations.
* Participate and drive execution of Japan, APJC and Global level growth initiatives.
