Position Overview:

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the administration and development of all Qlik business intelligence platforms for the North American Bioscience business. This individual must have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrate a team-oriented, goal-and results-driven work ethic. The role requires working collaboratively with the business users and data architecture team on the definition, construction and deployment of reports, dashboards, metrics and analytic components within a high profile Business Intelligence environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

● Administer QlikView 11.2 Server and Qlik Sense

● Set up and manage security using Section Access and DMS

● Develop and deploy QlikView Dashboards

● Manage daily QlikView jobs that update QVD files and Dashboards

● Performance Tuning, Setup and Configuration related to QlikView

● Interact with business users and data architecture team to ensure that Dashboards are delivered and deployed in a timely manner

● Recommend and Implement best practices for QlikView Dashboard and QVD development, sizing and configuration

● Document QlikView environment

● Respond to users regarding access privileges and questions about data

· Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field, or equivalent experience.
· 7+ years of experience in IT, data management and/or sales & marketing analytics
· 5+ years of experience in business intelligence administration and dashboard development
· 3+ years of experience with QlikView, Qlik Sense, QlikMaps & Nprinting
· Ability to effectively assist with user support / reporting community questions and inquiries
· Ability to organize and execute formal training in a group setting when needed
· Excellent planning and time management skills
· Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Frequent hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks and stands. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written words and sentences. Interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Must work with diverse groups to obtain consensus on issues.
