What You'll Do
Cisco's Offer Management Office (OMO), is responsible for transforming Cisco's software and solutions business; including driving new offers, solutions, buying programs, company wide policies, and business capabilities for use across all Cisco product lines and markets.
The OMO EA Platform team supports high-impact business programs that are highly transformational and require fundamental changes in the approach to structuring Cisco's offers for sale. The team also leads change across all aspects of the offer lifecycle including purchasing, fulfillment, accounting, sales, compensation, development, and other lifecycle activities. In achieving these goals, the team drives policy, process design and business requirements definition for the EA Program. A standardized but evolving monetization framework underpins this work, with team members working closely with offer, solution or buying model product managers, the OMO policy team, IT, Operations and functional organizations across the company.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work with buying model, solution, policy and offer product management to define policies, business processes and business requirements in support of implementation of these models, solutions and offers.
- Understand and align on offer pricing, product and support structure, monetization model and global deployment approach.
- Work across relevant organizations to drive implementation of the Enterprise Agreement into relevant pricing quoting and bookings systems, defining any new policies, processes or business requirements needing implementation as part of this process.
- Confirm the entitlement and ongoing fulfillment strategy for Enterprise Agreement. Align with supply chain operations, fulfillment portal teams and other organizations as needed, to support both pure SW, cloud and combined HW/SW/cloud fulfillment strategies.
- Define and drive build out of the support fulfillment and entitlement strategy for the Enterprise Agreement. Partner across the support and other relevant organizations to do this.
- Support definition of the operation and content structure of the catalog for the Enterprise Agreement.
- Define process, policies and rules for the ongoing catalog maintenance approach, including how catalogs evolve for both current and new customers, as well as for pure play SW, cloud and SW/HW/cloud combined offer elements.
- Support definition of all other parts of offer or solution lifecycle including in term changes, periodic adjustments and true forwards, in term offer evolution, end of term management and underlying product or service end of life management.
- Support as needed the sales ops, marketing and partner functions to ensure ops processes are understood. Ensure the processes align appropriately to all phases of the sales, marketing and partner management lifecycles.
- Work with offer management and the compensation organization to ensure that an appropriate compensation strategy exists.
Who You'll Work With
You will work across legal, finance, global tax and customs, export compliance, supply chain operations, the OMO policy team, IT, Operations and other functional groups, to ensure Enterprise Agreement business rules and requirements are understood and implemented correctly. You will also ensure corporate established policies and processes are followed, establishing new processes and policies where needed.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience of managing product or buying model launches, along with operational implementations and policy definition.
- Thorough knowledge of the software business and its associated buying models and processes.
- Knowledge of the networking and datacenter HW business, plus the nuances of SW enabled HW businesses.
- Experience and understanding of cloud products and their operating model, along with approach to aligning combined on premises, cloud and HW enabled hybrid models.
- Strong analytical, design and documentation skills.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, distributed multi-functional team.
- Knowledge of global business operations, practices and issues.
