Checkout.com is actively looking for a driven and agile Operational Finance Associate to join our growing Finance Team.
Working as part of our Operational Finance function, you will support the reconciliation of Merchants, Card Schemes processing, as well as Checkout.com’s domestic and international bank accounts. Evolving in a high-pace and dynamic environment, meticulous attention to detail will be the key.
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated, laser-focused and highly organised individual, not shying away from high volume work. You must be a team player when it comes to getting the job done and assisting wherever you can.

Key Responsibilities
Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
Reconcile and verify Checkout.com internal accounts and statements
Reconciliation of third party reports and information.
Ensure payments are input across various banking platforms and are authorised within cut off times
Monitor account liquidity to ensure payments are not delayed
Undertake exception processes including investigation work on specific reconciling items
Investigate and report any erroneous entries and rejected payments or transactions in a timely manner
Continually look at ways of identifying inefficiencies in processes

Seeked profile

Skills & Experience
1 year + reconciliation experience, processing a high volume of transactions
Good working knowledge of Excel
Working knowledge of payment systems would be an advantage but not essential
Excellent attention to detail, ability to identify anomalies across large data sets
Adept at finding solutions and getting things done
Highly motivated, able to work towards deadlines in a challenging environment
Open, friendly person who is proactive, keen to develop
Minimum of 5 GCSE (including Maths and English at Grade C or above) or equivalent
Fluency in English
