POSITION SUMMARY:

The Skincare Marketing Coordinator role within US skincare marketing will support all franchises in the skincare portfolio. This person’s role is to help execute the US business strategy, given market dynamics and upcoming product launches. Their role is to have a holistic view of the segment within Chanel and the market, via in depth analysis, so they can understand the larger implications of the marketing strategies and programs execution across distribution channels and product development.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support in the development and implementation of US business strategy of assigned franchises/segment
· Conduct frequent and in-depth analysis of assigned segments and/or launches
· Maintain budget worksheets to ensure accurate retail sales projections
· Assist in building and implementing comprehensive & cohesive 360 launch strategies for assigned franchise/segment launches
· Aid in managing expenses/promotional budget to ensure profit target
· Manage and execute recurring sales reporting
· Coordinate and ensure timely/thorough preparation of support materials for all re-occurring and ad hoc meetings ​
· Build strong relationships across the organization with effective communication
· Help to influence global marketing to develop product needed for success in the US market
· Work closely with other franchise/segment owners within makeup / skincare / fragrance marketing to find synergy among axes
· Participate, share and engage with MPOS, education & creative departments on all initiatives ​
· Prepare for, participate and present in retailer & sales meetings each season
· Engage with competitive product launches, showcasing curiosity in product offerings, price point, distribution, communication, etc
· Monitor category growth sales and share-of-market shifts through the execution of regular and ad hoc NPD analyses
· Track competitive 360 activity/launches and create executive summaries

BACKGROUND REQUIERMENTS:

· Minimum 2-4 years of experience in product/retail marketing or consulting
· Excellent analytical and strategic skills
· Strong presentation skills
· Ability to influence and collaborate
· Capable of working proactively and independently
· Exceptional organizational skills/attention to detail
· Affinity and appreciation for luxury
