POSITION SUMMARY:

Administrative support to the SVP of Merchandising and the merchandising team as well as coordinator to the merchandising team.

· Budget management
· Merchandising reporting and coordinating
· Communication and collaboration across functions (point person/liaison)
· Exposure to the business management of the fashion team
· Gain understanding of daily/monthly business analysis, buy prep and advertising and marketing efforts to drive business
· Develop partnerships with cross functional teams
· Ensure seamless communication across all team members

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

As a successful contributor to the merchandising team, this role will need to support SVP and the merchandising team by:

· Support on all administrative duties and division coordination
· Process and track travel expenses
· Schedule all meetings – routine and as needed for SVP
· Partner with divisional administrative assistants to determine meeting needs and invitation lists
· Coordinate all travel arrangements for SVP
· Coordinate with cross functional departments on projects and routine touch bases
· Maintain orderly stock of all office supplies and replenish as needed
· Maintain and monitor supplies budget
· Follow up T&E spending for the merchandising team
· Monitor purchases by category to control spending thoroughly
· Create and distribute divisional communication, special events and project information
· Manage gifting process for SVP
· Planning, coordinating, and managing:
· Divisional meetings, luncheons and offsite
· Onboarding in NY
· Global partner visits, meetings in NY
· Holiday and Personal meetings
· Special projects
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with all of Fashion, Watch and Fine Jewelry Division, and F&B division’s as well as outside vendors, real estate contacts, Chanel Paris office and global partners
· Weekly/monthly Reports: Shipping selling, Cognos, Stock/Sales by Boutique
· Transfers
· Client Connect
· Allocations
· Ad hoc reports Prepare divisional meeting presentations and projects
· Ad hoc support during market
