The Market Street boutique will showcase Chanel’s luxury leadership in Australia, delivering a client experience unlike any other, whilst enhancing sophistication across all areas. The Watch and Fine Jewellery Boutique is positioned as the key CHANEL difference that defines the Client Relationship and Experience with the Brand.
We are currently recruiting a Watches and Fine Jewelry Advisor for our Market Street Boutique. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
ABOUT THE JOB
A Watches and Fine Jewellery Advisor (WFJA) is responsible for providing ultimate luxury customer experience to achieve the mission of the brand. You will be dedicated to engaging the consumer of today and tomorrow, developing the relationship between client and brand by providing unsurpassed service to all our clients, maintaining high image standards in the boutiques at all times, and being committed to one’s personal and professional development and growth.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ROLE
As a WFJA, you will be responsible for upholding the image of the brand as a Brand Ambassador, portraying professionalism and sophistication in grooming and behavior at all times. You will convey brand messages, values, and culture while maintaining boutique displays and environment to Chanel standards. Additionally, you will sell a style and a dream, building emotional connections with customers by understanding their needs, offering relevant recommendations, and inspiring them to discover the allure of Chanel Timepieces and Fine Jewellery.
Key responsibilities include:

Provide ultimate luxury customer experience to both internal and external customers with a focus on customer recruitment and retention. Engage clients and build long lasting relationships with them.

Driven by service, image & sales, generate impactful sales through cross selling and upselling technique.

Equip yourself with expertise level of product knowledge. Commit to personal development and strive to improve through customer and manager feedback.

Provide after sales service to customers.

Possess expertise on High Jewelry and Watches and perform quality check and after sales follow up on the products.

Work closely within the boutique and with other WFJ and Fashion boutiques for expertise enhancement and encourage referral activities.

Work with WFJ Division, and the relevant divisions (eg IT, Finance, P&O) as well as within the Fashion division (eg VM, Marketing, Product, Learning and Development) in daily operations as required.

Success in this role requires a strong passion for luxury timepieces and fine jewellery, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment. You should enjoy building relationships, working collaboratively with a diverse team, and staying updated on industry trends and product offerings.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Previous retail working experience, particularly in a luxury or Watches and Fine Jewellery industry.
·
Commitment to learning and development in the Watches and Fine Jewellery categories, but also across the wider Chanel business.
·
Good presentation with excellent interpersonal, teamwork & communication skills.
·
GIA Certification or similar qualification would be advantageous.
·
Passion, knowledge and excitement for the Watches and Fine Jewellery category, that is able to be passed on to the client.
