Senior Manager, R2R Master Data & Change Management   

Location:  London Headquarters, UK 

Reports to:  Head of R2R - GPO 

Contract : Full-time and permanent position.

Job Description:   

The position is part of the Global R2R team. The team is responsible for finance master data and finance processes which impacts various systems across Chanel. 

We are looking for a  Senior Manager, R2R Master Data & Change Management  who will be responsible for supporting the Head of R2R - GPO with the stewardship of finance master data and providing guidance to the global finance community throughout the Chanel Group. You will work closely with various Global finance system teams to ensure consistent master data is used across systems. You will also provide support to local markets, regions and divisions as required. 

Key responsibilities:   

· 
Support with the stewardship of the R2R data issuing regular updates as required and answering COA/SCOA etc related queries from various markets, including reviewing requests for changes 

· 
Responsible for drafting of R2R policies and communicating policies to markets and ensuring compliance 

· 
Determining the needs and delivering R2R Master Data training  

· 
Ownership of information gathering for new/change requests & queries and determining and presenting the reason for the change to multiple parties 

· 
Manage the Release calendar ensuring timeline dates are adhered for submissions/issuance of data etc 

· 
Ensure that any changes required to master data is appropriately authorised, documented, made timely and communicated to all stakeholders 

· 
Keep SharePoint updated with the master data files 

· 
Increase data quality by defining posting profiles  

· 
Create and maintain global validation rules for the SCOA 

· 
Ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting standards and regulation, closely collaborating with various teams. 

· 
Maintain data standards, review data integrity, and conduct regular data checks to ensure good data governance 

· 
Develop and implement performance metrics which can be used to make decisions to improve business operational efficiency 

· 
Bridge with all other system owners (e.g., Concur, CRAFT, Coupa, Master Data Management Tools, etc.,) impacted by changes to the AX/D365 Core Data Model 

· 
Manage Change Management process and documentation  

· 
Ad hoc support to the team 

 

 

 Key Competencies  

The successful candidate will have: 

· 
ACA qualification or equivalent  

· 
Strong operational and technical accounting knowledge 

· 
Good financial process knowledge 

· 
Understanding of data models, hierarchies and data relationships 

· 
Ability to question and curiosity to understand details 

· 
Proactive, enthusiastic with a strong ability to work independently and within a team 

· 
Highly organised, with good time management skills and an ability to multi-task 

· 
Demonstrate a keen desire to continually learn and grow 

· 
Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with others 

· 
Excellent presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written.  

· 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) 

· 
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable but not essential
