RETAIL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST SCANDINAVIA AND BENELUX (MATERNITY COVER)
CHANEL is seeking a dynamic and operationally minded Retail Operations Specialist within the Fragrance & Beauty division for maternity cover, full-time, from May 2026 to May 2027 .
As a Retail Operations Specialist, you will serve as a trusted operational partner for our BenSca boutique network within Sweden, Denmark, Benelux & E-concessions, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and the highest standards of client service. You will drive continuous improvement by coordinating, analyzing, and optimizing retail processes, acting as the key liaison between boutiques and central functions.
With your strong analytical mindset and passion for operational excellence, you will foster close connections with our boutiques through regular visits, deepening your understanding of their needs and supporting teams to deliver exceptional service and performance.
The role reports to F&B Retail Operations Manager BenSca. The position can be based in any of the countries within the BenSca region. Regular travel to our F&B Boutiques across the region is required.
THE IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
· Coordinate and support all aspects of boutique operations, ensuring optimal service delivery and alignment with brand standards. Regularly visit boutiques to maintain close connections and a deep understanding of operational needs.
· Set up and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify optimization levels. Monitor boutique performance including stock coverage sell-through campaign, providing actionable feedback to relevant stakeholders.
· Support the BenSca deployment of the new retail software for both the front and back office. Be a key user and provide first level of support to the boutiques.
· Drive the end-to-end forecasting process for new campaigns, collaborating closely with boutique teams to fine-tune projections and ensure buy-in. Analyze assortment for each boutique, proposing optimizations to maximize sell-through and minimize returns.
· Assist boutiques with order placement, inventory management, and the annual inventory count. Oversee replenishment, product master data, and process optimization to ensure stock availability and accuracy. Track campaign, eyewear, and SPM orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any logistical issues (including delays or damages).
· Monitor carrier performance and costs, coordinate the distribution of uniforms and campaign materials, and manage the return of obsolete stock items.
· Ensure adherence to all operational procedures related to ordering, sales, transfers, and stock adjustments. Actively participate in process reviews, user testing, and system migrations, contributing insights for continuous improvement.
· Foster effective communication and collaboration between office and boutique teams. Attend boutique meetings regularly to align on service, operations, and brand image standards.

What you will bring to the team:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, strategic-, retail buying/merchandising or equivalent experience/education.
· Experience within a similar role, preferably within the Fragrance & Beauty retail industry.
· Passionate about the world of F&B products and retail, have demonstrated organizational, methodical, and interpersonal skills as well as attentive to details with high level of accuracy and efficiency.
· Solution oriented mindset that copes well with the urgency in the search for solutions and opportunities in the day-to-day work.
· Experience and knowledge in retail systems such as POS, product forecasting and inventory management
· Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Excel, is essential.
· Reliability, sense of service and natural leadership are excellent assets for this mission.
· Self-driven, positive, and independent with a high degree of integrity.
· A pedagogical communication style with the skill of explaining complex processes in a tangible manner.
· Provides an outstanding service internally as well as towards partners and clients
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English across all levels of the organization
