Through the aesthetic presentation of windows, mannequins and walls within the Boutique, the Visual Merchandising Learning and Regional Manager orchestrates a community of visual merchandisers in Europe who are the interface between the artistic direction of the House and the sales teams.
Translating the inspiration of a season, the style and image of CHANEL via visual displays, he/she brings together all visual merchandising teams and activities in the region to ensure consistency across markets in line with global guidelines, while respecting local market sensibilities, based on cultural, retail and client context.
Bringing the energy of the fashion shows to life via static displays in the each of the region’s boutiques, the VM Learning and Regional Manager Fashion Europe empowers local visual merchandisers to ensure the House’s visual codes are clearly relayed and consistent, while creating a memorable journey for each client in all areas related to merchandise presentation.
He/She works also closely with the global VM education to ensure across the Europe region the VM learning strategy & training program adapted to each markets.
This position will report to the Europe Fashion Europe Visual Merchandising Director.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
This position will allow you to travel in the different store location within the Europe region. Your working environment will be mainly in the retail space.
· Assist or execute the global VM learning strategies & training program
· Ensure alignment & synergy with global VM education by providing supporting training resources & tools as needed
· Monitor/track training program & learning effectiveness
· Assess your VM community training needs to drive training initiative & identity suitable solution
· Onboard new VM member
· Design & deliver training programs specific to the markets need
· Support Europe markets on all VM aspect
· Organize regular trip in the Europe markets to ensure the good knowledge of the vm rules & support them in their collection launch if needed
· Support the markets for the strategic collection launch
