CHANEL is currently looking for an Assistant Boutique Director for our Calgary Boutique.
 

As an Assistant Boutique Director, you will assist the Boutique Director with the efficient day-to-day management of the Boutique, lead by example and encourage optimum standards and activities amongst the team, while monitoring and managing standards of customer service, product care, staff presentation and teamwork at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide the highest level of customer service at all times, overseeing and supporting the team in upholding the standards as detailed within the CHANEL Charter including prompt response to telephone queries and relevant after sales care.

Establish, maintain and encourage good customer relationships including welcoming customers, presenting new collections, escorting customers to the door as appropriate and keeping in touch whilst ensuring that the team are applying the appropriate skills.

· 
Work towards, encourage and support a continued focus on all commercial objectives and goals set, assisting the Boutique Director in driving and tracking sales on a timely basis.

· 
Acquire and apply expert standards of product knowledge and selling skills to maximize on all sales opportunities, supporting and encouraging the team whilst leading by example.

· 
Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and management within own and other Boutiques, as well as with senior management and CHANEL Head Office as required.

· 
Accurate recording and management of paperwork related to team holidays and absence, including liaison with personnel/payroll departments as necessary.

· 
Timely and accurate completion of any necessary administration, including   requirements for carrier bags, stationery orders, monitoring credit notes, approval files and deposits, adhering to set procedures and policies as appropriate, whilst overseeing any paperwork completed by the team.

· 
Timely, secure and accurate operation of the tills, including the opening, balancing, checking and closing of tills; price and parameter recovery as appropriate; regular updating of currency rates as well as ensuring that sufficient change is available at all times and the prompt preparation and filing of the banking as appropriate.

· 
Ensure that correct ticketing as well as the quality of products is checked by the team at the point of sale.

· 
Successfully participate in and complete any training provided, acquiring and applying high standards of selling skills and product knowledge.
 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following background:

· 
Minimum 3 - 6 years of sales management experience in luxury retail or customer service related industry

· 
Proven track record in regard to people management (hiring, training, managing, etc.)

· 
Diplomatic individual with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· 
Professional presentation and behaviour

· 
Comfortable using POS systems and computer savvy (HRIS and Microsoft Office including, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

· 
Strong organization and follow-up skills (essential)

· 
RTW experience will be considered a strong asset

· 
Knowledge of a second language will be considered a very strong asset
