Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
A Vulnerability Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and helping remediate security weaknesses across systems, applications, and networks.
They conduct regular vulnerability scans, analyze results to prioritize risks, and work with technical teams to address identified issues.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The role involves staying up to date with emerging threats, validating fixes, and ensuring compliance with security standards and policies. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential to effectively reduce an organization's security risk posture
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Identify, assess, and prioritize security vulnerabilities across systems, applications, and networks.
Perform regular vulnerability scans using industry-standard tools.
Analyze scan results and validate findings to eliminate false positives.
Work with development, infrastructure, and security teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
Track and report on vulnerability status, risk levels, and remediation progress.
Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory standards.
Support patch management and verify effectiveness of applied fixes.
Document findings, processes, and recommendations clearly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen overall security posture.
*CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000–$105,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
