Position Description

We are looking for an energetic, experienced Front-end developer with keen UI/UX skills who will bring with them industry experience in working across diverse areas of business.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As an experienced developer you will lead varied development and design work for various stakeholder groups to create attractive yet functional designs for clients. You need the skills to create and iterate upon user journeys, storyboards, wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes and effectively communicate your design concepts. To do this you’ll need great communication skills, and be able to deliver design assets and relevant guides to the development team for implementation.

You will be able to work both individually and as part of a team to assist in designing user interfaces for interactive applications across a wide range of platforms; including mobile, desktop, web, and others as projects require.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The successful candidate must offer solid experience of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, user testing environment) along with a good understanding of UX and user-centred design principles and visual design skills.

You will have exposure with Adobe Creative Suite (in particular Photoshop) along with a combination of skills in Sketch, Balsamiq, Invision (design workflow) and knowledge of modern design. A strong portfolio of previous work demonstrating polished UI's (some of these can be conceptual) along with experience of using Javascript and/or related frameworks (such as AngularJS or React). This is a client-facing environment hence it’s important for the individual to be highly motivated and self-disciplined, with strong problem solving skills
