Position Description

CGI’s fastest growing Business Unit, Energy and Utilities, Telecoms (EU&T) are currently looking to expand its testing services and with that we have a number of fantastic Test Analyst opportunities.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As part of the experience Test team you will be expected to create and run tests using a variety of automation tools as well as creating defects. As well as completing test analysis on test results and defect documentation to high standards.

You will need to adhere to proficiency in software testing techniques and testing tools. Work and support test management to deliver quality and adhere to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) testing standards and best practices.

You will be expected to prioritise and take ownership of defects through to resolution and escalate any issues likely to affect project scope.

Accurate reporting to and collaboration with project stakeholders and associated delivery teams is needed to drive effective resolution of issues or defects.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate system integration and formal testing experience in a structured environment within UNIX or Windows using a test automation toolset.

Additionally you will need to demonstrate experience with SQL interrogation/data setup within relational databases and experience in quality assurance.

Experience of working in the Utilities Sector or knowledge would be desirable but not essential.
