Technical Security Architect

Position Description
Be part of something interesting and join our Cyber Security team as a Technical Security Architect working with a high profile Space and Aerospace client. Do you want to make an impact within the air communications industry? Are you ready to work with high-profile clients within one of the of the world’s most vital and exciting sectors? You will be part of team responsible for safety and security features that are required for future air traffic management communications. CGI is responsible for developing ground-based gateways that will enable SwiftBroadband to interface with the European ATM network and incorporate security measures to protect the over-the-air communications link from cyber-attack. You will play a key role in the Security aspects of the air traffic management systems. This is also a great opportunity for someone to receive training Your future duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will take responsibility for aspects of the security work including maintaining risk assessments, and executing security verification and validation. You will also be required to compile evidence to support certification for use with air transportation. The role is likely to include participating in common criteria evaluation of parts of the system. You will also be required to interface with the client on a regular basis including being part of client presentations. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The ideal person for this role must have strong Linux security experience, and should be able to secure a Linux server. Ideally you will come from a strong Linux background, and worked your way into a technical security role. Strong Infrastructure and/or network design experience is highly desirable.

Previous experience of providing risk assessments is key. Experience of producing sections of system security V&V reports, and overseeing areas of pen testing is highly desirable, as is IP Network integration experience. Other desirable experience includes PKI and IPSEC experience and CISCO security experience.

You will ideally CISSP certified.

Previous experience of working with Air Traffic Management systems would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Due to the nature of the work, you will ideally have current security clearance, but as a minimum must be eligible to achieve security clearance. Build your career with us.
