We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and creative person to join a strategic, forward-thinking and trend setting Talent Acquisition team. This role will be responsible for full lifecycle recruitment of Information Technology positions based across Western Canada.

The role will provide an opportunity to work directly with engaged clients in an environment that is demanding and where you have an opportunity to make a direct impact on the successes of our business. Through the use of strategic sourcing techniques, you’ll partner with the business to create recruitment strategies while building and maintaining talent pipelines.

You will be someone who is passionate about the quality of your hire and partner with your clients to achieve their business objectives. This business unit is growing aggressively; you’ll leverage your expertise sourcing with traditional and cutting edge methods and participating in various customized recruitment campaigns and events.

Responsibilities
Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various talent acquisition goals across all levels within multiple business units while striving to focus on a positive candidate experience;
Influence and advise hiring managers on all matters related to talent acquisition;
Develop a strong understanding of our culture and values in order to effectively qualify candidates;
Collaborate with hiring managers to craft and communicate the value proposition to candidates. Present and tell a great story and serve as a brand ambassador;
Drive intake meetings, manage expectations and provide guidance to hiring managers;
Use a variety of sourcing strategies including proactive sourcing techniques using social media, mining online databases, direct recruiting, and employee referrals to source best-in-class talent;
Create shortlists of candidates for submission to hiring managers, influence and advise hiring managers on shortlists, conduct initial phone screens and provide expert advice to hiring teams, manage debrief discussions;
Act as a subject matter expert to hiring teams to engage in technical, behavioural and/or situational interviewing techniques;
Influence, advise on and coordinate the Offer process with hiring teams, HR Business Partners and candidates;
Prioritize activities to ensure positive candidate and hiring manager experiences;
Building, maintaining and converting talent pipelines into great hires;
Be diligent in utilizing and updating the ATS to capture all data in relation to the recruitment and selection process;
Provide input for improvement in recruitment processes and best practices;
Stay informed of current trends, best practices and innovative recruitment techniques and sharing findings with peers as a way to remain competitive;
Attend and/or organize career fairs, school fairs, hiring events, or other Talent Acquisition related events; Required qualifications to be successful in this role
3-5 years’ full lifecycle recruitment experience with a successful track record as a technical recruiter in a high-volume, complex and rapidly changing environment;
Well defined and proven sourcing methods, high degree of familiarity/proficiency with recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, multiple search engine and meta-search engines, job aggregators/propagators etc.;
Well established relationship management skills – experience in working with and guiding/providing consultative advise to hiring teams within supporting businesses;
Ability to navigate complex, matrix-based organizational hierarchies;
Strong practical experience with ATS/RMS platforms;
Demonstrated success working with a strong team-oriented style;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
