Be part of something exciting and join CGI’s professional services team as an Applications focused Technical Architect. Do you want to take control of your future? Are you ready for the responsibility of working with high profile clients in the world’s most exciting sectors?
Come join the professional services team where you will get the opportunity to play a major part in a key transformation for one of CGI’s high profile clients. You will get the opportunity to influence stakeholders both within the client and within CGI
Your future duties and responsibilities
Working with the Applications Transformation and Case Management teams you will investigate the existing POLE and Intelligence Report models for three key applications and produce a single logical and ultimately physical data model design for a common Intelligence Report and POLE data model across the organisation. As the architect on the project you will also work alongside a Business Analyst to investigate what business capability and processes can be subsumed from the L3 applications into CM, and thus potentially expanding the current scope of the CM work and allow for the possible decommission of the L3 applications.
You will play a key role in overseeing the design of new data models across the customer’s organization. The role is very much a customer facing role and you will likely be predominantly based on the client’s central London office, although there will be occasional travel to CGI offices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The ideal person for this role will be a Technical Architect with a strong background in Data Architecture and ideally specific knowledge of POLE data. It is also essential that you have excellent Applications Architecture experience. You must have good experience of managing stakeholders and building a rapport with both your own team and the various technical client teams. You must also have the ability to see the bigger picture and use this bigger picture to identify possible new business opportunities for the team.
It would be preferable if you have previously worked within the Public Sector as an Architect, although this is not essential. Due to the nature of the work, you must either have current Security clearance or should be willing and eligible to achieve the appropriate level of security clearance needed to work in this role.
