Systemware Administrator

Position Description
CGI is looking for a Systemware Administrator to join the team in Bloomfield CT., or Lafayette, LA.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Analyzes, designs, creates and implements Content Management infrastructures, including access methods, device allocations, validation checks, organization and security.

• Designs data models, logical and physical infrastructure designs, etc.

• Assists in system planning, scheduling, and implementation.

• Initiates corrective actions to stay on schedule.

• Installs, upgrades, and tests complex Content Management deployments.

• Develops and implements recovery plans and procedures.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Solid engineering and administrative knowledge of SystemWare Content Management system (XPTR)

• Support of Content Integrator, XNET, RS distributed components of the ecosystem

• Mainframe system management experience, familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows systems.

• Design, install, and maintain highly available systems (including monitoring, security, backup, and performance tuning)

• Scripting experience

• automation experience

• Must possess good analytics and problem-solving skills

• must be willing to work flexible hours
