Position Description
With over 40 years in the industry, CGI Space is a rapidly growing business with exciting projects and prospects across the Navigation, Earth Observation, Satcoms and Spacecraft Operations domains. We currently have around 500 members working on projects in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands.
Our Space business is looking for an IT System Administrator to join a team of professionals working on a large European Navigation programme. Our System Administrators typically work in teams alongside developers, designers and testers providing essential support to teams who are working on some of Europe’s most exciting IT projects. Your future duties and responsibilities
You should be capable of quickly picking up new concepts as the system is large and complicated, working to high standards of quality, and to agreed timescales as part of a team.

You will be involved in providing IT support to a number of projects, investigating and resolving issues reported by users - maintaining the programme infrastructure to a high standard. You will be defining, delivering and supporting programme specific IT projects and solutions as well as assisting in maintaining system documentation. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
As the Systems Administrator, your skill set will revolve around the Microsoft Server, Firewall/Networking, Fault finding and Documentation of the work carried out
This role is most revolved around the Microsoft technology stack, so knowledge of the Windows Server 2012/16, Windows 7/10 would be beneficial. If you have experience of Linux administration, HP Hardware, Hyper-V, VMWare Admin and SQL Admin would be advantageous.
This role will then be based full time in Leatherhead, but some travel to other European sites will be required.
Our roles require Security Clearance to SC Level or a European Equivalent, so you must have lived and worked in the EU for the past 5 years, and be willing to obtain this level of clearance if you do not already have it.
