Software Quality Engineer

Position Description
CGI has an immediate need for a Software Quality Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will have 4-6 years of testing experience with technologies such as Selenium, Java and Jenkins. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

Guide the development of test cases/scripts, test case automation, test execution, and validation of results

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
4-6 years of testing experience working with:

• Selenium
• Java programming and Object oriented concepts.
• Junit, Maven and Jenkins integration.
• In-sprint automation
• Data automation (SQL)
• Exposure to agile testing process.
• Experience detailing test plans, test cases, tracking defects, reporting status to various levels of the project organization
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – as you will be interacting with clients, BA’s and Lines of Business

Desired Skills
• API Automation experience
. Cucumber/BDD framework
• Karate framework
• UI testing and database testing.

Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related IT field or equivalent combination of experience and education
