Your future duties and responsibilities
Our Gloucester-based team has a strong Agile software engineering community that is growing in order to create innovative solutions to solve our clients’ business challenges. To maintain our momentum, we need to recruit a variety of developers with varied skill-sets and experience keen to work on leading edge solutions for our clients.
Working from our Gloucester office or on customer site, we help our clients with some of their most complex IT challenges. Our developers have the opportunity to construct some of the most unique and exciting software solutions within the industry. You can expect to be involved in all stages of the project and system life-cycles.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You will have experience of developing application software in Java, C#, C++, JavaScript or Python. You will be familiar with Agile approaches and software engineering practices such as Continuous Integration and DevOps.
We develop mainly on Linux environments (RedHat, Ubuntu or CentOS).
Knowledge of the application of any of the following technologies is highly desirable: JBoss, ActiveMQ / RabbitMQ, Node.js, AJAX, NiFi, Hadoop, Apache Kafka, ELK Stack, Mongo, Oracle, MySQL, Eclipse, Jenkins, Atlassian suite, Zephyr, JMeter, Selenium, Cucumber and Gherkin.
Security clearance is required for this vacancy. Candidates will need to have or be able to gain a minimum of Security Check (SC) clearance with the ability to attain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. We ask that all candidates be eligible and willing to undergo the DV clearance process.
