Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake.
Create and manage Snowflake objects such as databases, schemas, tables, stages, file formats, streams, tasks, and views.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data transformation and data processing.
Implement data loading and ingestion processes using Snowflake features like COPY INTO, internal stages, and external stages.
Design and implement data warehouse solutions following best practices such as star schema and snowflake schema modeling.
Build and maintain data transformation models using dbt where applicable.
Develop and manage data orchestration workflows using tools such as Apache Airflow.
Work with large datasets to perform data cleansing, transformation, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Integrate Snowflake with big data platforms such as Apache Spark and Databricks when required.
Support production environments, monitor data pipelines, and troubleshoot data issues.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are followed in all data solutions.
Work within Agile/Scrum development environments and contribute to sprint planning and technical discussions.

Maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, data models, and workflows.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-have

. Overall 8+ years of experience with 4+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake (development and optimization)
. Good experience in building end-to-end pipelines
. Strong expertise in SQL
. Experience with Snowflake objects (databases, schemas, stages, file formats, streams, tasks, views), data loading using COPY INTO, external/internal stages.
. Good understanding of ETL architecture, Data warehousing concepts, snowflake schemas, SQL skills

 
Nice to have

. Experience with dbt for transformation and modeling.
. Exposure to orchestration tools such as Airflow (relevant to your current orchestration programs).
. Knowledge of Spark / Databricks.
. Exposure to container platforms such as OpenShift.
. Experience in BFSI / capital markets / regulatory data environments.
