We are thrilled to announce a newly created opportunity for a Senior Service Delivery Manager. In this crucial role, you will collaborate with our local client, a high-impact government agency, and coordinate with CGI teams in Australia and the UK to ensure the successful delivery of a high-profile, impactful service engagement.
Step into a dynamic leadership role where you will manage service delivery, key client relationships and high-impact projects from start to finish, while being involved with business development initiatives. As a key member of our experienced and collaborative team, you will spearhead significant projects for this prominent government department, within a cutting-edge technological environment.
We offer a hybrid work model where you will work 2-3 days a week from the client site or our North Sydney office, and work from home.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Successfully deliver one or more service contracts with complex and wide-ranging services.
• Be fully responsible for the service(s), and reporting progress and status.
• Collaborate with CGI’s offshore team to deliver exceptional services to a prominent government agency with high-impact, high-transaction needs.
• Lead the service delivery strategy including budget, controlling financial parameters, and securing appropriate resources.
• Facilitate adherence to our SLA's and contract deliverables.
• Manage the delivery of the service within the context of the financial and operational drivers.
• Understand, challenge and work effectively within complex commercial parameters.
• Deliver the planned business outcomes for CGI and the client(s).
• Manage the client relationship at a senior level.
• Actively manage support and project engagements to contracted obligations, aiming to exceed client expectations and service levels.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Leverage your professional network to identify, pursue and capture new business opportunities that provide sustainable revenue and growth.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Proven experience in managing the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of services, ensuring that processes and outputs remain relevant throughout the service lifecycle.
• Expertise in handling Business as Usual (BAU) operations, day-to-day activities, and operational changes across various service workstreams or towers.
• Proficiency in proactively identifying and managing contract changes and potential modifications, including those influenced by external factors, and leading complex negotiations.
• Excellent partnership and communication skills with the ability to build and influence relationships with senior stakeholders, and coordinate with local, global, and technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to gain stakeholder engagement and commitment for business and commercial outcomes, while effectively managing ambiguity with clients and other support units.
• A passion to drive and deliver comprehensive and sustainable service improvements. service excellence and continuous process improvement.
• Skills in articulating and managing high-impact risks, establishing a robust risk-management culture within the service delivery team, and engaging with senior stakeholders.
