Your future duties and responsibilities:

We’re looking for an AI Security Operations Engineer / Architect to help build a modern, AI-driven SOC (Security Operations Center) in Bulgaria. This role focuses on designing and implementing architectures that improve security operations through automation and AI. You’ll work on both internal capability building and client-facing projects. The goal is to enhance security outcomes, boost analyst productivity, and reduce manual effort. The role primarily involves working with Microsoft and Elastic technology stacks. We need someone with a strong understanding of SOC operations, SIEM platforms, and security data, who can apply AI and automation in real-world scenarios. You should be able to think architecturally and translate business needs into technical solutions. Strong collaboration skills are important, as you’ll work with analysts, engineers, and cloud teams. A proactive mindset and interest in emerging technologies are key.

·  Design and evolve AI-enabled SOC architectures

·  Manage and optimize security data (SIEM, data lakes, etc.)

·  Build and improve AI and automation use cases

·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security operations

·  Translate SOC challenges into practical AI solutions

·  Support client projects (design, pilots, implementation)

·  Develop reusable architectures and accelerators

·  Evaluate new and emerging technologies

·  Measure and improve operational efficiency

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

·  Several years of SOC or security engineering experience

·  Strong knowledge of SOC processes (triage, investigations, incident handling, tuning)

·  Hands-on experience with security platforms/tools

·  Understanding of security data and operational workflows

·  Experience with AI/ML/GenAI in security or operations

·  Ability to design at architecture level and also implement hands-on

·  Strong German and English communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

·  Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft security stack

·  Experience with Elastic (on-prem or hybrid)

·  Knowledge of AIOps, observability, or platform engineering

·  Experience building AI assistant / co-pilot workflows

·  Understanding of security governance, privacy, and responsible AI

·  Consulting or client-facing experience

·  Experience creating reusable frameworks or acceleratorslus
